4. SERPchecker

KWfinder Review

KWfinder is the keyword research tool that comes with the Mangools toolset. It was developed with the primary intention of giving SEO’s a tool with features similar to that of Google Keyword Planner.

KWfinder is pretty much like any other keyword research tool in the market, just insert the keyword and you will get a list of keyword ideas with metrics such as Search Volume, Keyword Difficulty and CPC.

Data In KWfinder

The data in KWfinder comes from a variety of sources (as mentioned by their support team); largely from Google Keyword Planner itself.

So there is no compromise to the quality of data shown and can be used without any doubt.

But there’s one drawback related to the number of keyword ideas or related keywords when you type in your primary keyword.

Mangools provides 200 keyword suggestions in their basic plan and 700 keyword ideas in their premium plan and agency plan.

You will immediately notice that other tools are lightyears ahead in this aspect as compared to KWfinder.

(Source)

Metrics

The metrics in KWfinder such as keyword difficulty, CPC, monthly searches etc are accurate and almost similar to any other keyword research tool.

But what sets Mangools apart is that they give a magical touch to data.

#1 Keyword Difficulty

This is the industry standard keyword metric present in almost every tool and provides a complete overview.

Consider an example given below;

It adds a visual touch to the difficulty of keywords in form of colours.

Read this guide to know more about the Keyword Difficulty Algorithm [here].

#2 Monthly Searches And Trends

It is another metric of KWfinder which comes in handy in assessing the volume of a particular keyword.

Not only does it display search volumes of keywords but also shows you the trend data which is directly imported from Google Trends.

This helps you in evaluating whether a keyword will rise or drop in the future; a really cool feature.

#3 Cost Per Click

Cost Per Click (CPC) gives you a rough idea about the cost of a click per advertisement for a given keyword and this data imported from Google Keyword Planner.

#4 PPC

This metric shows the level of competition for a given keyword in PPC or Pay-Per-Click Advertising for Google Ads.

User Interface

Mangools stands out from other keyword research tools in this regard and offers the best user experience.

Also, KWfinder’s UI is well-disposed and magnificent that will make you forget about dealing with a complex topic like keyword research.

The KWfinder Dashboard is:-

  • Easy to navigate
  • Easy to understand
  • Similar vibe to that of a video game!

Now let’s check out the KWfinder Dashboard as shown below;

#1 Search By Keyword

This mode allows you to search for keywords hence retrieving related keywords, autocomplete suggestions and questions.

#2 Search By Domain

In this search mode, you can search for specific domains, URLs or subfolders which are ranking for a particular keyword.

This is a more advanced feature that imparts you with a quick competitor overview.

#3 Filters

KWfinder also has some awesome filters which you can use to drill down on the specific type of keywords you need.

#4 Related Keywords

There’s nothing much to tell here this is the place where all the related keywords will comeup when you search for a seed keyword or do a Search By Domain Search.

#5 Keyword Difficulty

In the top right-hand corner, you will see the Keyword Difficulty metric which shows how hard will it be to rank for a keyword in Google.

This score is different for all Keyword research tools

#6 Search Volume & Trends

Besides the keyword difficulty metric, you will find the search volume & trends these will show you how trendy a topic is and how many people in an entire month search for that specific keyword.

#7 SERP Analysis

This feature gives you a brief overview of your competitors in SERPs. But this is just an extension of another of their tools called SERPchecker which we will go through later.

Other Cool KWfinder Features

You can also export all your results to a .csv file with just a click.

Also you can save your best Keyword findings into lists for further analysis so you don’t have to worry about forgetting them.

Overall, KWfinder is a solid Keyword research tool and can easily envy that of SEMrush and Ubersuggest.

LinkMiner Review

LinkMinker is Mangools backlink checker.

And it’s quite solid.

Also It has all the basic tools a solid backlink checker needs and it’s really fun to use.

Data in LinkMiner

All the link data you view in LinkMiner comes from the Majestic API and the Moz API.

Unlike other tools like Ahrefs, Moz or SEMrush, LinkMiner pulls all it’s data from the Majestic And Moz Link Indexes. Which is quite a relief.

Why?

Because many small SEO tools try to build and fund their own link indexes which is super expensive and requires a ton of work. And at the end, these small SEO tools mess up their link data and end up being crappy.

But Majestic’s link data is not the most desireable but it’s still quite solid and useful.

Mangools also pulls some metrics from Moz, namely the Domain Authority (DA) and the Page Authority (PA).

Metrics In LinkMiner

There are tons of metrics in LinkMiner which are handy for detailed Link Analysis. But for a beginner it can get really confusing.

So now you are going to check out the different Metrics present in LinkMiner.

#1 Trust Flow & Citation Flow

These metrics are from Majestic and a lot of people don’t know about it. (Cause its a bit advanced).

But putting it simply,

Trust flow is a score on the scale of 0-100. What Majestic did is that it manually scoured the web and found a number of Trusted Seed Sites in every niche. Sites that are closely linked to a Trusted Seed Site will see much more higher scores in their Trust Flow.

And

Citation flow is metric that refers to the popularity of a link in site without considering the quality of these links. A perfect example is Porn sites. They have very high Citation flow but there links are often useless. [*]

#2 Ref IPs And Domains

The easiest way to understand reffering IPs is that they are IP Addresses that link to a target URL. Usually these IP Addresses are not mapped to any domains so they take the form of Reffering IPs.

Reffering domains means the amount of Unique Linking websites to a target url.

Say for example, a website has 100 links from 6 Reffering domains. Then this means that all of these 100 links come from this 6 reffering domains. And in most cases these types of link profiles seem to be Super Spammy.

Infographic on Ref IPs vs Ref Domains.

#3 External Links From Page (EL)

This metric shows how many External links are present on a URL.

#4 Facebook Shares (FB)

As the name only suggests this metric shows how many Facebook shares a single article has.

#5 Alexa Rank (AR)

This is a metric developed by Alexa (Hey Alexa) which arranges in order the most popular sites in the world.

#6 HREF

This shows which URL is being linked to by any page.

#7 Anchor Text

An Anchor text is a clickable text in a hyperlink. In modern browsers it is underlined like this links to our home page.

#8 Link Profile Strength (LS)

This is a cool metric developed by Mangools themselves which takes into account various metrics like Dofollow or Nofollow, DA, PA, Trust flow and Citation flow.

They take all these Metrics and mix them together to get this Link Profile Strength.

This is an Awesome metric to judge the link with One Metric only. [*]

User Interface

The LinkMiner’s dashboard (Like all other Mangools tools) is very intuitive and beautiful.

It has all the bells and whistles you need in a backlink checker tool complete with Filters, Active & Lost Links And Dofollow/nofollow links.

Lets explore the dashboard in more detail.

#1 Search Bar

This is where you plug the URL of which you want the backlinks for.

#2 Filters

Like KWfinder, LinkMiner also comes with a bunch of handy filters to help you drill down on specific type of data.

#3 Dofollow/Nofollow

This filter will help you seperate the Dofollow/Nofollow links from the results.

#4 Active/Deleted

This filter will help you seperate the backlinks which no longer link to the URL and the ones which are still active and running.

#5 Metrics Panel

Here all the key metrics of your Target URL are displayed. (And they are explained already)

Overall LinkMiner is a quite awesome Backlink checker.

1. For it’s Beautiful Dashboard

2. For It’s Quality Of Data

So yes, LinkMiner is good and can be used to do Backlink Analysis. 😊

SERPwatcher Review

SERPwatcher is Mangools’s Rank Tracking Tool.

And according to them there Rank Tracking Tool i.e SERPwatcher makes other rank trackers look super old.

Let’s get into more detail.

Data In SERPwatcher

How SERPwatcher comes up with your rankings is quite simple.

They will ask you to enter keywords that you want your website to be tracked for and then when you put them in they will search google SERPs for your page and then map your position and display it in your SERPwatcher dashboard. (Got this from Support).

Metrics

There are no special seo metrics for SERPwatcher, but some widgets in SERPwatcher are quite cool and interesting.

#1 Performance Index

The first one is the Performance Index and before you start asking what is it read this;

The Performance Index (PI) is an aggregrate metric that represents your ranking performance in Search engines based on actual positions of your website and search volumes (used as weights) of the keywords tracked in SERPwatcher. [*

#2 Top Gainers & Losers

This widget shows the keywords which have gained the most rankings and also the ones who have lost the most in a fixed amount of time.

#3 Estimated Visits

This Widget shows the traffic estimation of your site by Mangools for your Tracked Keywords.

Nothing much to worry about cause you are probably going to use Google Analytics to check traffic and not Mangools.

#4 Keyword Position Flow

This metric shows your keyword ranking flow or an overview of how many keywords have changed their positions both Positively and negatively.

#5 Keyword Position Distribution

This widget shows how many keywords rank in a specific position, say from 1-10 there are 233 Keywords, 10-11 23 Keywords.

Setting Up SERPwatcher

Setting up SERPwatcher is very easy follow these steps and you can too set up rank tracking in SERPwatcher.

First SERPwatcher will ask you about some basic requirements

Enter All this stuff and then your Ranking tracking will start like a breeze.

SERPchecker Review

SERPchecker is Mangools’s SERP Analysis tool.

And for us it looks quite uneccessary.

Insted of creating a seperate SERP analysis tool they could just build this into kwfinder.

But anyways it’s super powerful to “actually” determine how hard will it be to rank for a single keyword.

Data in SERPchecker

The data in SERPchecker comes from Majestic And Moz. And rest all is pretty much the same. 😴

Metrics

The metrics in SERPchecker are similar to that of Other Mangools tools like LinkMiner and KWfinder.

Some of them are;

1. Link Profile Strenght (LPS)

2. Domain Authority (DA)

3. Page Authority (PA)

4.  Citation Flow (CF)

5. Trust Flow (TF)

6. External Links (EF)

7. Reffering Domains (RD)

You can also import some custom metrics from a button on the top right corner of the SERPchecker tool.

User Interface

Again, SERPcheckers UI is very beautiful and Intutive.

All you do is just plug in your keyword and you get the SERP for the keyword along with helpful metrics to asses it’s ranking difficulty.

Everything is quite self explanotory so you should easily get the grasp of SERPchecker yourself.

SiteProfiler Review

SiteProfiler is Mangools Domain Checker tool ( like that of SEMrush’s domain overview and ahrefs Site Explorer.).

Data In SiteProfiler

Nothing to say all comes from Majestic and Moz.

Metrics In SiteProfiler

There aren’t any special metrics in SiteProfiler, they all are basically the same.

Domain Authority, Page Authority, Trust and Citation Flow, Facebook shares Alexa Rank and more.

User Interface

SiteProfiler is jam packed with a lot of widgets which contribute to it’s overall User Interface.

#1 Top Panel

First of all you have a panel displaying all of the key metrics of your plugged in domain.

#2 Backlink Overview

Then you have an section which displays a lot of link metrics like;

  • Active Links
  • Dead Links
  • Total Backlinks (all time)
  • Link Type Distribution
  • Dofollow and Nofollow link ratio
  • Reffering domains, IPs and Subnets
  • Anchor Text

And a lot more.

#3 Top Content

This where you can break down your competitors best performing content by backlinks earned and Facebook shares earned.

Mangools Add-On Review

Mangools also has a chrome add-on/extension which you can use to get access to all of their metrics from the comfort of your browser without switching tabs.

And spoiler alert.

It’s very good.

Platforms

The chrome add-on is currently only available for Firefox and Chrome users.

Features

In the Mangools Add-on you get 5 core features (just like the 5 core apps).

1. Domain Overview

2. Keywords

3. Backlinks

4. On Page SEO

5. Rank Tracking

#1 Domain Overview

When you click on the Domain Overview tab you get the SEO overview of the domain you are currently on.

This includes things like DA, PA, Alexa Rank, CF, TF & Facebook Shares.

#2 Keywords

This report is like the mini KWfinder.

When viewing this report you can see the keywords the domain ranks for and also the keywords a Specific URL ranks for.

#3 Backlinks

With this report you can easily see all the backlinks for a domain as a whole or an exact URL.

But you can’t access the link preview feature in the extension. So that’s a con.

#4 On Page SEO

This report is a very quite helpful one.

Why?

Because it breaks down a lot of common stuff which are very boring to find out.

Like Word Count, Title Word Count, SERP Preview, Description Word Count and much more.

#5 Rank Tracking

This is not that quite useful.

It’s just that you can see all of your tracked keywords and their performance right from the extension.

Chat & Customer Support

The customer support team of any SaaS business plays a huge role in the success of it.

Give poor customer support and you will lose all your business and money.

Ease Of Contact

Reaching out to a Mangools helpster is very easy.

There are 2 ways you can reach out to them.

First you can chat with them with the help of a chatbot located at the bottom right corner of you screen.

Contact Us

And like all other websites you can also reach out to them through their contact us page.

People Behind Support

The people behind Mangools support team is very good.

They are quick to answer literraly any of your queries and are also very cheerful, kind.

Much of what we want from a SaaS company.

So I would say they do an phenomenal job with their support.

Learning Materials

Mangools creates 3 type of content.

#1 Blog

#2 Videos

#3 Graphics & Visuals

Even if they have content they are very much inconistent.

The last video they uploaded in YouTube was in the year 2018. That’s like light years old.

And their blog’s production frequency is also very low. (2-1 posts/month).

And their Social content is also not updated frequently.

But don’t you worry if you want to learn and master mangools, then stick to our blog.

Over all, their content production is quite in-consistent and I don’t like it.

Mangools Alternatives

There are a LOT of Mangools alternatives out there.

But few can match it’s quality and price.

But for the sake of making this review EPIC 😉 we will stack Mangools against some of it’s alternatives (which also are awesome).

#1 Mangools VS Ahrefs

Ahrefs is just a GOD.

You can’t compare Mangools to Ahrefs that’s like comparing a Honda to a Lamborghini.

Ahrefs is much for SEO Professionals who have

– a LOT of money

– Who live to eat SEO data

And Mangools is much more for those who just want a SEO tool that guides them through and is affordable.

#2 Mangools VS SEMrush

Yes.

Mangools can easily rival SEMrush in one thing.

User Interface & Experience.

Mangools is like a GOD against SEMrush when it comes to the UI of their tools.

And yes SEMrush have started working on their UI so in the future we can see a better SEMrush.

Remember SEMrush is an All-One-Tool and it has many more features then Mangools. And is much more suited for those who need one tool and one tool only.

#3 Mangools VS Ubersuggest

Ubersuggest was recently just an keyword research tool.

A Google auto-suggest scraper that scraped google auto-complete to give you more keyword suggestions for your seed.

Then Neil Patel bought this tool out and revived it completely.

And now it contains a lot of features. (But We Still Don’t Recommend it)

See Ubersuggest is nothing infront of Mangools especially as their price is quite similar.

So defenitely we would suggest Mangools instead of Ubersuggest.

#4 Mangools Vs Moz

Moz is an enterprise level SEO tool which boasts the best SEO data in the industry.

So if you are considering Moz, think again.

So yeah Moz is improving.

But if you are going to buy something for $99/month then go for Ahrefs.

Otherwise Mangools is best.

Mangools Pricing

As mentioned in the title Mangools gives you superpowers on a budget.

But here we will compare all the packages of Mangools and then reccomend them based on your current position.

So let’s get into it.

#1 Mangools Basic

This the most cheapest plan Mangools has to offer.

It also gives you access to all Mangools’s core features. But the amount of data you can get in this plan is quite limited.

Pros :-

✅ $49/month or $358/year

✅ Gives core features (Bang for buck!)

Cons :-

❌ Limited Data

❌ No Simantenious Logins / 1 user only

Ideal For ? 🤔

New bloggers who have a decent budget and want a bang for buck! .

#2 Mangools Premium

This according to Mangools is their most popular and best value plan.

This also comes with all core features of Mangools SEO Suite. The data is more then enough in some apps and medium in others.

Pros :-

✅  Available data is more than enough.

✅ $69/month or $478/month. ( #value 😱 )

✅  3 Simantenious logins/ 3 users.

Cons :-

❌ Data in kwfinder, SERPwatcher is lesser.

Ideal For? 🤔

Old bloggers who want to squeeze as much ROI as possible.

#3 Mangools Agency

This is their most expensive plan (and the best performance wise). This plan makes you feel like a GOD (with all the data you have at your fingertips).

Mangools just made this plan a blockbuster!

Pros :-

✅  Quite unlimited data

✅  A football team can use it at the same time (10 users)

✅  $128/month or $ 958/year

Cons :-

❌ No Cons.

Ideal For ? 🤔

Freelancers.

Agencies would use a much more feature rich and Pro SEO tool like Ahrefs or SEMrush.

But we know a couple freelancers who use Mangools as they find it best in the pricing range ($99).

Wrapping Up..

Mangools is not perfect by any strech of imagination.

It’s not that powerful like Ahrefs or SEMrush.

But it provides you with the best quality of data you can find for the cheapest price. And we know there are much cheaper alternatives in the market like Ubersuggest.

But personally we don’t think Ubersuggest is that great. It’s just the way Neil markets this product.

But Ubersuggest is making great progress.

Overall, if you have a bit of money to spend, then go for Mangools.

It’s the best you can find. (under $50).

So that’s it.
